An excellent old Pichon; among the best 78s I’ve had. Fully mature with bricking at the rim, but still garnet in the core. Dried currant fruit and herbaceous, with tobacco, cigar box, tea leaf, cocoa powder, truffle and dried flowers with resolved tannins. It’s reached its plateau, but in no danger of falling off any time soon. 🍷
